Born in South Carolina, Constance Gibson started her career as a dancer when she moved to Cleveland, Ohio.  At age thirteen she performed at cabarets with a dance troupe and in 1968, at fifteen, auditioned and won a spot dancing on the nationally-syndicated tv show Upbeat.  She appeared on the show for three years.  Gibson attended Texas Southern University in Houston and Fordam University in New York City.  After school she worked in New York's fashion industry, first as a dresser, then as a stylist and assistant to fashion maven Audrey Smaltz. Afterwards, Constance opened her own fashion and beauty agency "Style Architect" and had as her clients, some of the biggest names in entertainment:  Whitney Houston, Morgan Freeman, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, SWV, TLC, and many many more.  Gibson presently divides her time between her homes in South Carolina and New York City.
